Arcadian Productions is primarily an event management company incorporated in 1988 by partners Ross Powell and Nancy Cottingham Powell.
Nancy is currently enjoying her new position as the Executive Director of the North Vancouver Community Arts Council.

Ross Powell started out his professional career as a musician while still in high school. He released his first album of original music in 2017. Since entering the production world in 1086, he has specialized in production management of concerts, festivals, and parades.
Ross' major credits include: Director of Programming and Production of CelticFest Vancouver; Technical Director of MusicFest Vancouver; Production Manager of the Rogers Santa Claus Parade, the Vancouver Canada Day Parade, and the CelticFest Vancouver St. Patricks Day Parade; Production Manager of the Aboriginal Pavilion at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics; Producer of Covering Joni-Album by Album for the Sechelt Arts Festival; Production Manager of the Vancouver Symphony’s outdoor concerts series; Stage Manager for the VSO; Author and Publisher of a best-selling dog-walking guide for Greater Vancouver; Co-Producer and Story By credit on The Swinging Nutcracker – a CBC special; and Tour Manager on ‘Experience Canada’, a cross-Canada theatrical tour celebrating Canada’s 125th birthday.

Nancy Cottingham Powell’s background is steeped in the arts, training to be in front of the lights at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in California then evolving into behind-the-scenes production during Vancouver’s Expo ‘86. She has been part of British Columbia’s arts and entertainment scene ever since. Her specialty is conceptualizing and executing production plans along with administration, programming, marketing and sponsorship management. She finds great joy in ensuring that all players in a production enjoy the process and end result through a well organized and executed plan.
Nancy's major credits include: Producer of the Sechelt Arts Festival; Executive Director of CelticFest Vancouver; General Manager of the Pacific Baroque Orchestra; Entertainment Manager at the Pacific National Exhibition; Artist Services and Outreach Manager for MusicFest Vancouver; Production Manager for “Paintings Below Zero” ice painting exhibition for the Cultural Olympiad at the 2006 Torino Winter Olympic Games, Ontario 2007 and Chicago 2008; Administrative Manager for the Vancouver International Song Institute; Production Manager for the Vancouver Symphony Summer Series and the World of Children’s Choirs International Symposium; Associate Producer on the Variety Club Telethon; and Assistant to the Producer on ‘Experience Canada’, a cross-Canada theatrical tour celebrating Canada’s 125th birthday.
Ross and Nancy live on the Sunshine Coast, BC, with their two children.
